Lost or Stolen Keys
To report a lost or stolen key and request a new one, follow the requesting a key process. A re-keying charge is assessed to the requesting department.
To report a lost or stolen KUID card that has been enabled with building access, contact the KU Card Center at 785-864-3322 or stu.account@ku.edu, or log in to the KU Web Card Center to immediately de-activate your card.
Damaged Keys
To report a damaged key and request a replacement, follow the requesting a key process. The work request should note the serial number of the damaged key that needs to be replaced. Damaged keys will be replaced without charge.
